The past few weeks, I have been trying our new Australian Gold Tan Extender, Hemp Nation Eucalyptus and White Tea. I’ve always been someone with very dry skin which is exacerbated in both summer and winter. During the summer, I spend a lot of time in the sun. Even with the application of tanning lotions and sun cream regularly, the sun can dry out my skin quickly. In the winter I rely on an air-conditioned office to stay warm. This also dries out my skin. With this in mind, as someone with fair skin, this can slow down any tan results I build significantly.
This spring, I had a hot holiday coming up and worked on building a base tan. To do this, I used a mix of the following tanning lotions:
I find that switching up my tanning lotions regularly really helps me to see results faster, especially when using products containing natural colour boosters and DermaDark. I have also been using one of the latest Hemp Nation Tan Extenders, Eucalyptus, and White Tea, in between tanning sessions in the evening to see if this would help my tan development.

I must now profess myself a huge fan of this formula. Initially, I used this in the evening after every tanning session pre-holiday, and post-holiday I have been applying this regularly throughout the week, with an extra focus on my legs and arms which are more likely to dry out from exposure. Not only has this left my skin looking healthier and glowier, but I still have tan lines a month and a half after my holiday! For me, this is a huge deal, as to even gain a glow on holiday is exciting, but to have seen visible maintenance and not lost my colour immediately has been a first.
Although super hydrating, this isn’t too thick and doesn’t leave a residue on the skin. It has the same feel as any other Hemp Nation when applying; simply wonderful! It has great spreadability, meaning a little goes a long way! Plus its lightweight feel and fast absorption into the skin mean this is ideal for both men and women to apply after a sunbed or holiday. I’ve also found that after applying this lotion, there is an immediate change to my skin’s appearance – it looks much more radiant and feels less tight, which is something I’ve never experienced before with a moisturiser or Tan Extender!
I’m also a huge fan of the fragrance. Long-lasting and fresh, when applied to the skin, Hemp Nation Eucalyptus and White Tea isn’t overwhelming but replaces the need for any perfumes. It smells clean, fresh, and fragrant, but couldn’t be considered a ‘gendered’ fragrance, again, making it ideal for all tanners!
