Commercial sunbed maintenance: a salon owner’s guide
Plan routine sunbed care, keep maintenance records and know when to ask for help with equipment supplied by Cyrano.

A clear maintenance routine helps your team look after equipment between servicing visits. Start with the operating manual for your exact model and configuration: it determines the checks, cleaning methods and maintenance intervals your salon should follow.
Routine care between customers
Clean and sanitise the equipment between customers, using products and methods approved by the equipment manufacturer. Follow the cleaner’s instructions as well as the sunbed manual; a household cleaner is not a substitute for a confirmed compatible product.
Check the surfaces your customers use and report damage before the next session. Keep the manufacturer’s care instructions accessible to staff and make sure everyone follows the same routine.
Plan checks around your model
Use your manual’s maintenance schedule for filters, ventilation, lamps and acrylics. There is no single cleaning or replacement interval that suits every commercial sunbed. Record operating hours where available, cleaning checks, faults, lamp changes and servicing so your team can see what needs attention.
When to stop and ask for help
Take a sunbed out of use if it is damaged or is not operating as described in its manual. Do not bypass a warning or safety device to keep it running. Internal cleaning, lamp replacement and repairs need the correct model instructions and suitably trained people; this guide does not provide electrical or dismantling instructions.

Support for a Cyrano-supplied sunbed
Cyrano maintains, repairs and services sunbeds supplied by Cyrano. Tell us the manufacturer, model, serial number if available, and what you have noticed. Include any displayed fault message and useful photos, without opening the equipment to take them. You can enquire without a trade account.
